Ibrahim – Abraham (14:4)
We have not sent a messenger except in the language of his people to clarify ˹the message˺ for them. Then Allah leaves whoever He wills to stray and guides whoever He wills. And He is the Almighty, All-Wise.

Messengers of Allah (Peace Be Upon Them) communicated in the language of their people to ensure the message was clear and understandable. This fact confirms that Allah revealed the Quran in Arabic to the Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him), addressing the people of Quraysh in a language they could comprehend. Below are some supporting verses that affirm this:
Joseph (12:2)
Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran so that you may understand.

Al A’raf – The Thunder (13:37)
And so We have revealed it as an authority in Arabic. And if you were to follow their desires after ˹all˺ the knowledge that has come to you, there would be none to protect or shield you from Allah.

Az Zumar – The Troops (39:28)
˹It is˺ a Quran ˹revealed˺ in Arabic without any crookedness, so perhaps they will be conscious ˹of Allah˺.
https://quran.com/39/28
The Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) communicated in Arabic, the language of the Quraysh, aligning with the objective of delivering Allah’s message with absolute clarity and authority. Since every messenger was sent speaking the language of their people, the revelation of the Quran in Arabic ensured that the initial audience fully understood its guidance. This linguistic choice was not incidental but divinely ordained, reinforcing the Quran’s role as a clear, unambiguous, and authoritative message from Allah.
How did Allah appoint His messengers?
An Nahl – The Bee (16:43-44)
16:43
We did not send ˹messengers˺ before you ˹O Prophet˺ except mere men inspired by Us. If you ˹polytheists˺ do not know ˹this already˺, then ask those who have knowledge ˹of the Scriptures˺.
16:44
˹We sent them˺ with clear proofs and divine Books. And We have sent down to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Reminder, so that you may explain to people what has been revealed for them, and perhaps they will reflect.
https://quran.com/16/43-44
The verses above clarify that Allah appoints men as His messengers, including the Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him), granting them clear proofs and divine scriptures as a Reminder. Their role is to convey and explain the revelations to the people, enabling them to understand and reflect upon the guidance given to them.
In the near future, we will delve into Allah’s expectations of the Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) when delivering the message, (InshaAllah, Allah’s will). This will include the responsibilities placed upon him, the manner in which he was commanded to convey the message, and how his role as a guide and a warner was divinely ordained.
